![]() I don't mind that but it does lower replayability since playthroughs are going to be fairly similar. doesn't have passenger routes, planes, or boats (yet). But there is a mod that makes them infinite. I don't find it fun to run a decaying network and it's a design that feels out of place in this game. Unless you like simulating "urban decay" of logistics networks, I really question this choice. resources (just like in Factorio) are finite and can be exhausted.Since decisions around things like vehicle type/size don't seem to generally make or break the profitability of routes, the decisions aren't as interesting as they are in more realistic games. the decisions to streamline/simplify gameplay means this is not a game for people looking for a more hardcore/realistic simulator.May be a plus or minus depending on your preference. train signalling uses the standard manually-placed block/chain signal system. ![]() The hardest difficulty settings are pretty simple - reduce starting capital and loan maximums, reduce prices, etc - and will not make the game an economic razor's edge like in Simutrans or Workers & Resources, it just makes the game progress slower (which I enjoy, but I want more economic challenge and a real risk of bankruptcy if you make the wrong investments). As far as I can tell, every resource is able to be delivered at outrageous margins unless you really screw up. like many logistics games, there isn't much genuine economic challenge here.I LOVE small dev teams producing great software. public roadmap with what looks like a pretty sensible set of priorities ( ).despite being pre-early-access, it's very polished. The modular factories in Voxel Tycoon are AWESOME. I like the conveyor belts and hope they build out more options around modular factory/station designs.I do recommend a decent spec GPU for this game though, it's much smoother on my gaming machine. at minimal graphics settings, it plays surprisingly well on my non-gaming laptop.the devs have taken modding seriously and have support for data and code mods, decent modding docs, and an in-game mod library. ![]() If you like sprawling networks of trains and trucks combining to make cross-country production chains, you will probably like this game.
